Ashley and Jesse were married at the Timberline Lodge in Mt. Hood, Oregon. The weather couldn't have been more perfect for a fall wedding. The mountain was out in all it's glory. And, before you ask I'll tell you. The bride broke her ankle the day before the wedding and was on crutches. It didn't really bother her though, Ashley was tough, she called me a wimp because I was getting cold while shooting. This wedding was a total joy to photograph and the location was a photographers dream. The newly weds or on their way to Mexico for their honeymoon today. Congrats guys, and thanks for letting me follow you around all day with my camera.

Sarah and Taylor were hitched at The Canal in the Ballard area of Seattle. They were so easy to work with! They had a really rocking reception to boot. Thanks guys ! Sorry for the short post here. I'm tying up some last minute things before my wedding this weekend in Mt Hood, OR.

Check out Jane and Bryan's slideshow! They were married at the Windmill Gardens, same location Lidia and I got hitched. It was awesome being back there to shoot a wedding. Thank you Jane and Bryan for having me for your wedding. I had a great day with you and your families. And, we stayed pretty dry during the portraits which was a bonus. Thanks again, guys. I just stumbled on these photos from early summer. I had just gotten the awesome canon 50mm f/1.2 lens and was super eager to use it. Lidia and I were out for some Thai. The light coming in on her face was so money I had to take some frames. All images @ f.1.2. Sorry for the random post, I just felt like it.

prints and other stuff

Pretty cool prints, huh? These are all 16x24 Canvas prints. They will be going on display Starting this Sunday here. It'll be the first time I've displayed my work anywhere so I'm pretty pumped!! I've had a lot of people ask me if I sell prints, the answer is yes. And what is that above!?!? It's an iphone, baby! I put all my portfolios on my phone, you never know when you might need to show off, right? Lidia and I both got one last night. I've been spending most of my day so far playing with it... I need to get some work done...

I ranked in the top 10 in a couple different photo competitions.

1st, this frame from Randilyn+Mikes wedding. It took 4th place in the kids category in the Quarter 2 WPJA competition

2nd, this frame from Justine+Chad's wedding. It took 10th place in the AGWPJA competition. OK, I'm really off to get some work done. Thanks for looking.
