This time last year I was on my way to Mumbai, India to meet up with my friend, Nathan for a few weeks of photography. Lidia and I are going through some of these images for wall art for our new place, we're thinking #1, #3, and #5.

lidia | birthday | new toy
Happy Birthday to my wifey, Lidia!!! I remember last year on her birthday I was shooting holly and glen's wedding all day. For those of you thinking I'm a bad husband for that I'll have you know I took her out to a nice breakfast before the wedding. I'm pretty sure I made up for it this year, we went to brunch with my folks, her parents, and our brothers, It was a good time. I would have posted photos of them and the festivities but they don't want to be on the blog. She also received a shiny new camera from me. I got her the wonderful canon 870is, its so tiny and compact but it packs a serious punch, it has excellent manual control and very impressive auto capabilities. check out how pretty it is.
The above images were all taken with it today, not bad for a little point and shoot. If you're in the market for a new camera it's a good choice.

goodwill industries
I've been working on Images for Goodwill Industries this week with a local design firm. So far it's been fun and a nice change of pace for me. I really like this frame.

I took this image in Jaipur, India last February. Today I was organizing images from the trip and thought this image made a cool desktop image, infact, I'm using it for mine at the moment.
